Thai trade strong with ASEAN in 2017
Thailand’s Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives has reported Thai farm goods enjoyed a trade balance advantage in ASEAN of 200 billion baht in 2017, which should continue if the sector maintains its quality and trustworthiness this year.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives reports Thailand saw 439.129 billion baht worth of trade in agricultural goods and para rubber with the other nine nations of ASEAN in 2017 exporting 328.902 billion baht worth of farm goods and importing 110.227 billion baht. The Kingdom’s balance of trade advantage was 281.675 billion baht.
