Principle of voluntary cooperation not helping tackle climate change
“Building on the progress made so far, countries now need to take a decisive step forward in preparing the ambitious and balanced outcome that we need in Katowice [Poland],” executive secretary of UN Climate Change, Patricia Espinosa, said at a press conference in Bangkok on Monday (Sep 10), ahead of the week-long Climate Conference in Bangkok, which ended on Sunday (Sep 9).
