3 years of private investments in the special border economic zones are less than 10,000 millions Baht.
According to the news from Ministry of Industry, the meeting of the Marketing and Public Relations Sub-Committee under the Special Economic Development Zone Board discussed on the progress of the investment in the special economic zones. They found that the investment results and BOI’s investment promotion applications from January 1, 2015 to February 28, 2018 had 51 investment project applicants. The total proposed investment capital was 8,955 million Baht; whereas, it was approved 45 projects with a total investment capital of 8,338 million Baht.
