Thammasat allows transgender students to dress according to their gender
Thammasat University announced on Monday (June 8) that it would allow students to dress in accordance with the gender with which they identify.
The announcement, which was signed by rector Associate Professor Kesinee Vitoonchart, said the new rule applies to students when in a classroom, taking an exam, undergoing training, contacting university officials and attending ceremonies, including graduation. They must, however, follow the university’s gender relevant dress code.
