Education Ministry hiring 10,000 asst teachers during virus crisis
The Education Ministry will hire 10,000 assistant teachers for primary schools as a way of helping unemployed educators amid the Covid-19 crisis.
Education Minister Nataphol Teepsuwan said the plan was to hire assistant teachers for six months on a monthly salary of Bt9,000. The budget for the employment scheme totals just over Bt500 million, enough to hire around 10,000 teachers.
