The problem of plastic waste started to grow when the world economy started to be driven by heavy industries. The problem has affected the ecosystem and people’s quality of life, as all nations have made the matter top agenda. This gave life to the concept of circular economy. It is in line with the Bio-Economy, Circular Economy and Green Economy (BCG) model, and the government hopes to use it as a mechanism to develop the country in a sustainable way.
