Seminar on Greater Mekong Subregion discusses economic growth opportunities

The Asian Development Bank has collaborated with the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board in holding a seminar on 25 years of Greater Mekong Subregion economic collaboration.

Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office Korbsak Phutrakul delivered a keynote address on growth opportunities in the Greater Mekong Subregion following various magaproject investments that will better connect the region. He revealed that the Thai government aims to host a meeting between strategic economic leaders of the region to discuss a new comprehensive framework for regional development.
