Nan project tackling poverty under royal initiative a success
The Pid Thong Lang Phra Institution for Activities Promotion and Development, an initiative under King Rama IX’s patronage to assist the poor in Nan, has become a model of success after a decade in operation, the institute’s adviser said.
The project, which started in 2009 in the province, aims to eradicate poverty and develop local areas under the deceased King’s wise sufficiency economy concept.
