Labour Min ramps up efforts to quash child labour
The Labour Minister has ramped up efforts to eliminate the worst forms of child labor. Labor Minister Pol General Adul Saengsingkaew, has chaired the 3rd National Committee Meeting on eliminating the worst forms of child labor. Participants agreed to disband the committee in charge of child labor in the prawn, fishing, sugar cane, and garment industries and set up a sub-committee to monitor each aspect to facilitate operations.
