Investors visit U-Tapao Airport prior to February’s auction
Potential investors on Saturday visited the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) to observe the U-Tapao Airport expansion project before they bid on a construction contract in February.
Rear Admiral Krirkchai Wajanaporn, the secretary of the U-Tapao Airport and Aviation Development Committee, led a group of Thai and foreign investors representing 42 companies that had purchased bid envelopes on Thailand’s east coast, giving them an opportunity to see first-hand the planned U-Tapao Airport expansion which will be up for auction in February.
