The Ministry of Commerce is looking into an online claim alleging a shop owner is charging customers an additional fee for using a social welfare card.

Commerce Minister Sontirat Sontijirawong has instructed Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Whichai Phochanakij to investigate the claim which provides little detail about the shop.
